A little bit about Amy’s Creative Cakes from Owner Amy Recinos… My talent started in early childhood as I baked with my mother. In 2004 I was trained by Wilton Industries to teach the art of cake decorating. I have taught the Wilton Method and advanced cake decorating classes to several organized groups and school programs. Since then I have taught over 3,000 students the art of cake decorating.
I hold a BS in Marketing and a BA in Business from DeSales University. I have trained with world-renowned sugar artists to expand my cake artistry skills. I am a national competitor with many awards for cake design as well as cake flavors, cupcake design, and cookie design. Over the years I have honed my craft into making beautiful and delicious custom cakes.
Amy’s Creative Cakes was opened in June of 2006. We offer made from scratch desserts using fresh and high-quality ingredients. We specialize in custom wedding cakes, micro wedding cakes, wedding cupcake displays, and grooms cakes. In addition, we design special occasion cakes, custom cupcakes, dessert displays, custom cookies, and edible favors. We also offer corporate dessert catering.
Amy’s Creative Cakes proudly services the Greater Lehigh Valley, Easton, Bucks County, Montgomery County, and surrounding areas.
Our company believes in supporting our local communities in the Lehigh Valley by participating in the LV Food and Wine Festival. This festival generates funds for the culinary students attending Northampton Community College.
In addition, we have supported our local American Cancer Society, Food Pantry, Quakertown Community Outreach, and local addiction recovery organization Hope Restored. We have also participated in the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala.
